Q How do I start recording a fishing session?

Tap "Start Session" on the iOS App home screen, or long-press for 3 seconds on Apple Watch to start (long-press prevents accidental activation). The session will automatically track time, location, and weather.

Q How does data sync between iPhone and Apple Watch?

Data syncs automatically via Apple's WatchConnectivity framework. Ensure both devices are paired and Bluetooth is connected. Sync usually completes within seconds, but may take longer with large amounts of data.

Q Can I use the app without internet?

Yes! All core features work offline. Your data is stored locally on your device. Weather information requires internet, but other features work without it.

Q How can I export my data?

In the iOS App Settings, find "Data Management" and tap "Export Data" to export all your fishing records in JSON format.

Q How does Tournament Mode work?

Tournament Mode uses standard 5-fish livewell rules. The system automatically tracks your 5 largest fish, calculates total weight, and prompts you to cull when you catch a bigger fish.

Q How do I delete my data?

You can delete individual sessions or catches within the App. To delete all data, use "Clear All Data" in Settings, or simply uninstall the app.
